Steven Iosifidis (born 28 December 1973, Melbourne) is a Greek-Australian Football (soccer) player.[1]
Steven began his career at local club Altona East Phoenix. He made his way to Heidelberg United in the National Soccer League in 1994-95 season. Heidelberg were relegated to the Victorian Premier League that year where they finished 2nd to Altona Magic. They made it to the grand final that year but lost to the Magic on penalties.
Steven transferred to South Melbourne FC the next year where he stayed for most of his career. He was a part of South Melbourne's FIFA Club World Cup squad in Brazil in 2000. In 2004 he moved back to local club Altona East Phoenix, to help them gain promotion back into Victorian Premier League. Coached by former South Melbourne FC player, Charlie Egan, they finished mid table that year but "Yossa" helped the Phoenix win the Hellenic Cup that was hosted by Altona East that year.
